To any of you who read this, I found out yesterday that I will be teaching second grade next year!!! I could not be more excited! This means that I may be teaching some of the first graders who I worked with in March of this school year!
Last night I couldn't do homework (I had done enough), so instead I decided to start looking up ideas for my classroom next year! I found some cool ideas and resources. I also started working on a class blog where I will post information for parents and students. I have got a long way to go, but if you want to check out what I have so far click here.
This summer is going to be a busy one, and there are some days when I wonder how on earth I am going to do everything that I need to. The four hours of sleep per night that I was getting this past week is not going to cut it. Somehow I will make it, and it will all pay off as I get to teach my very own second grade class next year!
Living (and awake for way too many hours a day), loving (the things that I am learning), and learning (a whole lot about how to be an awesome second grade teacher - hopefully)
