One thing I absolutely love about kids is the way that they think! I am so excited to be a teacher and to get to spend my days with kids!
This past week I went back to the school that I was teaching at in March (also the school that I will be a teacher at next year!)to watch the first graders that I taught in their performance. Their performance was called "Dionostars" and it was great!
After the show I got to see some of the kids who I taught! One little boy was talking to me, he said "so I heard that you got a job" to which I replied that I would be teaching there at Spanish Oaks next school year. I told him that I didn't know what grade I would be teaching, but that I would have to let them know when I found out. He thought for a minute and then he said, "well, I think you should probably start in kindergarten." Kindergarten is where he started, so why wouldn't I start there as a teacher too? I love the way kids think!
Life is busy, but good : )
