Well, its been a while since I have been on here. I guess I have spent more time making sure that my brothers missionary blog is up to date than worrying about my own. It is also likely the result of taking 18 credit hours this semester! Yes, I know I am crazy! Life is constanly busy and there is always one more thing that I could be doing, but life is good : )
The moral of this semester, and last semester too I guess (I took 17.5 credits last semester) is that when you put the Lord first in your life, He will take care of you and help you through watever it is you have to accomplish. Some of the things that I try and do on a weekly basis to put the Lord fist are these things:
- Read and study the scriptures each morning to start my day
- Go to the temple
- Go to institute
- Start and end my days with prayer
I'm not perfect, and I cannot say that these things are done with perfection each week, but I try, and I know that my life has been blessed because of it.
It's amazing how I can see the spirit leading and guiding me each day. It helps me in personal ways and in my school work as well. I can't tell you the number of times I have been studying for a test and got the feeling that I needed to study a particular topic only to find questions on the test on those topics. There have also been countless times when I have been writting lesson plans or doing other assignments and Ideas have just flown into my head. I know that these blessings come because I make an effort to put the Lord first in my life.
I was sick this last week and didn't make it to the temple, I look forward to going this next week.
Life is busy, and it is hard, I have a million decissions to make, but I know that as I continue to put the Lord first in my life that He will lead and guide me.
I'm livin, learnng, and lovin it every day!
